The following area residents were among students to graduate from Morrisville State College in May.

Morrisville State College recently announced those students who were named to the President's List for the Spring 2013 semester. To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a perfect 4.0 average for the semester and complete at least 12 credit hours.

Morrisville State College recently announced those students who were named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2013 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve an average of 3.0 to 3.99 for the semester and complete 12 credit hours.

Area students were recently inducted into the Lambda Xi Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society at Morrisville State College.

Morrisville State College liberal arts students were recently honored for their achievements during the 13th annual Liberal Arts Tea. The event is part of the college's annual celebration of academic excellence.

The School of Science and Technology at Morrisville State College awarded scholarships to students during an event on April 23, 2013.
